There are a number of options available to users to apply as default during their visit. These can be edited from the User Options perspective. Note that the settings persist per user between visits, so do check that they are approporiate for the current data collection session.
In most data collection scenarios, the user options should not need to be updated.
If unsure of any settings, please discuss with your local contact.
Note that these options are subject to change with updates to the beamline control software.
Use Robot to mount samples in data collection: Should be left ticked, unless the beamline is in special operations (i.e Use of plate stage for CL3 or manual mounts).
Take PNG images of samples: Should be left ticked.
HT: Continious Processing (suppress popups/ warnings): May be advantageous to be ticked during queued screening or queued data collection
Update Omega start after centring: The start omega value set for the data collection before collection is ignored. The omega start value is that after centring, can be used in manula centring, or to attempt to leave the crystal face on during optical loop centring.
Raise Detector Plot view on data collection start: Can be unticked if this is not used during collection.
Bypass LN2 Checks on sample load: Should not be ticked
Pause queue if no beam: Should be ticked.
