The next Inside Diamond event will take place on Saturday 6th November 2021 and this event will take place virtually via Zoom. Registration for this event is now OPEN.
As the event is being held virtually the usual restrictions on visitor numbers do not apply, therefore instead of opening a ballot for tickets, we are opening registration to all. Once registered you will receive a joining link and your place on the Open Day will be guaranteed.
This event consists of 2 sessions. Please register for the session time that best suits you:
10am - 12 noon REGISTER HERE!
2pm - 4pm REGISTER HERE!
Our virtual Inside Diamond open day events offer the chance for members of the public to virtually visit the facility and see inside our particle accelerator and experimental laboratories. You will also meet some of the scientists that use Diamond and can ask them about the work they do - everything from viral proteins to engine parts and ancient texts.
The visit will typically take approximately 2 hours and will consist of:
Diamond hosts regular Inside Diamond open day events, however due to the COVID-19 pandemic these events have changed format.
The next Open Day on Saturday 6th November 2021 will be held virtually. Registration will open in October.
Other future 2022 Inside Diamond Open Days will be evaluated and the format confirmed (in-person or virtual) at a later date.
