On I03 room temperature data collection is accessible by using the HC1.
For this you will need to bring with you the plates of growing crystals. These are then mounted on the goniometer in SPINE standard pins containing a micromesh from Molecular Dimensions or MiTeGen.
I03 plate stage is availiable on request, usually for CL3 experiments. Please consider using I24 or VMXi for other in-situ work.
On I03 it is possible to collect data from your samples in situ in SBS format crystallisation plates. This enables you to:
The preferred plate type is the Greiner crystal quickX plate.
Other SBS plates may be used but they will have a restrictied rotation range and are not suitable for data collection.
Plates where the well has a rounded bottom present significant problems locating crystals.
