FibreFix

FibreFix version 1.3.1

FibreFix is integrated program of XFIX, XCONV, FTOREC, LSQINT and BSL for Windows. This is designed to help ascertain some important parameters of a fibre diffraction pattern with the aid of a Microsoft graphical user interface (GUI). It is newly migrated from Unix to Windows. Information such as the pattern centre, detector orientation, fibre tilt can be estimated and refined, putative unit cells can be plotted over the pattern, background subtraction and transformation of image space to reciprocal space. In addition, more general functions are available such as the capability to plot slices or scans through the pattern. The background subtraction algorithms have been optimised for speed and performance.

  2. XCONV
  3. LSQINT
  4. FTOREC
  5. HELIX
  6. MusLABEL

The above documents are for the Windows versions of the programs. If you require manuals for Linux/Unix versions of the software, please see the following documents instead:

  • XCONV
  • LSQINT
  • FTOREC

There is also a flowchart of how the individual components link togethger to form a coherent solution to fibre data analysis.
