We would like to invite you to the next instalment of our current webinar series, a Live Virtual Tour of Diamond Light Source on Wednesday 10th June at 1:30pm. Everyone is welcome to tune in as this webinar is specifically aimed at a general audience and no previous knowledge is required. As always you will get the opportunity to ask our experts any questions you might have. You can catch up with our previous webinars on our website here.
Over the last 8 weeks we have taken you on a journey through Diamond Light Source, discovering how the particle accelerator works and exploring experiments with the scientists themselves. This week we will show you what it is like to visit Diamond in person by giving you a virtual tour. We will escort you inside the silver synchrotron building, visiting the particle accelerator and following the path of the radiation produced into the beamline laboratories.
David Price will guide you through Diamond, from the front door onwards. In a slight change to our usual style, instead of inviting questions at the end of a presentation, we will be taking questions throughout the virtual tour, just like if you were to visit us in person for an open day. David and Amy from our Public Engagement Team will be on hand to answer any questions you have always wanted to ask about Diamond!
