FastDP

Fast DP is an autoprocessing pipeline that uses the XDS software package and CCP4 programs to deliver data processing results very quickly.

It is intended to give an indication of the data quality and give reasonable quality data for subsequent analysis in the shortest possible time, typically delivering the scaled and merged intensities and merging statistics within two minutes of the end of data collection.

The data quality from Fast DP is not expected to be as good as the xia2-dials/xia2-3dii pipelines, so data from these pipelines should be taken in preference for the final data processing.

Fast DP uses XDS to find spots, index and integrate the data in P1 symmetry. The CCP4 program pointless is used to assess the space group symmetry, data are scaled with XDS and merged with CCP4's Aimless program.

Further documentation on Fast DP can be found here.
