Shipping Your Dewar Home

(Academic Users Only, UK/NI/EU)

New for EU/NI Users May 2026

The shipping service has been updated, so some of the displays are different to those you may be accustomed to. If you have any problems with shipping to or from Diamond, for MX, then do contact us on [email protected].

To ship your dewar home, wait for the email notification that your dewar is ready to be returned. Then click the link in that email, or log into ISPyB and select the "Shipments" page from the proposal menu.

Click on the shipment that contains the dewar you want dispatch back home. Next you click the small “house” symbol in the last column of the information for the dewar that you want to dispatch.

3. Fill in your address or click on a saved address
