Data Backup

Backing up your data to transfer it to to your local systems and to provide long term data storage is your responsibility. At Diamond we have set up the Data Dispenser to make data backup as simple as possible.

If you are working remotely, you can send an external hard drive to be plugged in to the data dispenser by your local contact or the EHC. Running the data dispenser GUI to copy the files is then your responsibility. Alternatively remote data backup can be achieved by connecting to Diamond and 'pushing' the data to your local computer. 

The EHCs can loan you an external hard drive if necessary.
