We would like to invite you to the next instalment of our monthly webinar series, a Live Family Webinar ‘Careers in STEM' on Wednesday 20th January at 16:00pm. Everyone is welcome to tune in as this webinar is specifically aimed at a general audience and no previous knowledge is required. As always you will get the opportunity to ask our experts any questions you might have. You can catch up with our previous webinars on our website here.

** Diamond employs over 700 people, but what do we all do? This week we will be exploring Careers in STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics), and specifically all the different things that people do at Diamond. You may imagine that you have to be a scientist to work at Diamond Light Source, however that is not the case, it takes a huge range of roles and skills to make Diamond a world-leading facility. Scientists are very important, but so are our engineers, technicians, software and computation teams and many more! We will also explore ways for you to join us, from students placements to full time employment and offer tips on what it takes to work in STEM. Tune in on Wednesday to find out more! **

Amy and David from our Public Engagement team will present this month’s webinar and will also answer any questions you have about careers and Diamond in general.

Tune in on Wednesday 20th January via Zoom (please note: questions can be submitted via the ‘Q & A’ function and attendees will be not be visible during the webinar). To receive the joining link please register for the webinar via the link below. Once registered you will receive an email with the joining instructions.
