Research Expertise

My scientific research background lies primarily in two areas. For my PhD I investigated the interactions between polymer brush coated surfaces using both x-rays and the surface force apparatus, and during undergraduate studies I conducted an investigation into the formation and morphologies of amyloid fibrils. In addition to these areas I also have a keen interest in lipid systems as well as colloidal systems stabilised by polymer brushes.

My role as a Principal Software Scientist has expanded over time and now he spends his time divided between (GI-)SAXS data analysis support and leading the embedding the use of AI & ML into Diamond as a facility.
