Gangshun earned his Ph.D. degree from the University of Oxford in 2023 and joined eBIC Diamond Light Source in May 2024. He is interested in developing novel methods for structure determination of small proteins based on the utilization of engineered dimeric nanobody, named Di-Gluebodies, which is covalently-rigidified, modular protein assemblies enable simultaneous determination of high-resolution, low-size, cryo- EM structures. Gangshun also works on tumor-suppressor let-7 pre-microRNAs regulation by determination the structures of uridylyltransferases TUT7 and TUT4.
