Philip Blowey is a Data Analysis Scientist in the MX Data Analysis team.

Biography

Phil joined the MX Data Analysis team as a Data Analysis Scientist in 2024. His main area of responsibility is developing and supporting the Zocalo infrastructure for automated data processing on MX beamlines. He is also responsible for developing the Metal ID and Strategy pipelines.

Prior to joining the MX Data Analysis team, Phil was a researcher in the field of atomic scale surface science. In 2018, he completed a PhD in Physics at the University of Warwick, in collaboration with Diamond beamline I09, before taking on a post doctoral position at the University of Leeds.
