After completing his D.Phil. in Condensed Matter Physics at the University of Oxford in 2017, James joined Diamond as a Postdoctoral Research Associate, developing the DIALS and xia2 processing software. James joined the Data Analysis group in 2023 to develop next-generation data processing pipelines for the Diamond-II era, while maintaining research interests in multi-crystal and serial crystallography methods development.
