GISAXS is a member of the SAXS technique family and the small-angle analogue of GIWAXS. It is a surface technique used in the characterisation of nanoscale surfaces and thin films. Most commonly GISAXS is used to determine, on a nanoscale, the self-assembly and self-organisation of thin films.
I22 is a non-crystalline diffraction beamline using SAXS and WAXS for the physical and life sciences. Small-angle, non-crystalline diffraction provides essential information on the structure and dynamics of large molecular assemblies in low ordered environments.

DL-SAXS is an offline SAXS instrument that compliments I22 and B21 in delivering the highest quality lab SAXS data. The Instrument will also act as a testbed for Sample Environment Development for SAXS.
More information
I07 is a high-resolution X-ray diffraction beamline for investigating the structure of surfaces and interfaces under different environmental conditions, including, for example, semiconductors and biological films.
