DPhil Student, University of Oxford & RFI
Will is a DPhil Student at Oxford University on the iCASE Interdisciplinary Bioscience BBSRC Doctoral Training Programme, partnered with Diamond Light Source and the Franklin. Will is using the Franklin’s cutting-edge technology to solve problems in cryo-electron tomography sample preparation.
Originally from Durham, he graduated from the University of St Andrews with a BSc (Hons) in Biochemistry. His final year research was focused on the structural biology of sialyltransferases and their inhibition, using X-ray crystallography to explore modifications for potential new inhibitors.
