Expression, purification and crystallisation of membrane proteins
Claudia is a PhD student between the MPL and the University of Oxford. Claudia graduated with an MSci in Biochemistry from UCL and worked as a research technician in the MPL for a year before joining as a PhD student. Her project focuses on complex formation and the function of membrane-associated enzymes of the N-glycosylation pathway using a combination of structural techniques like X-ray crystallography and single particle cryo-EM as well as functional and biophysical assays.
