Beamline Schematic

Conceptual beamline schematic of HeXI showing the main components. These include the 1 MeV electron source, accelerator support and collimator, electron optics, and the endstation which will house our sample hotel and goniometer. The goniometer will be an equivalent design to VMXm. Our detector position relative to the end-station is shown. Several of the components surrounding the sample position have been omitted for clarity. HeXI will be unique amongst the Diamond beamlines as it will not require the synchrotron for the generation of its radiation.
