Sep 21. till Sep 22.

S4SAS Conference 2020

Join us at our annual Diamond meeting for users of Small Angle Scattering (SAS), which for the first time will be held online, spanning two morning sessions over two days.

The S4SAS conference series aims to reach out to both well established and cutting-edge scientists alike, providing a forum for technological advancement, as well as showcasing the current state-of-the-art in data analysis for SAS users.

By highlighting leading scientific research in the field, both at synchrotron and laboratory sources, the event will provide a forum for discussion for all users of Small Angle Scattering.

Poster session

As part of the conference, we would like to invite attendees to present a poster online, hosted via our virtual venue platform (more details to come).

In the first instance, we invite registered attendees who wish to present a poster to sign up via this form by 17:00 (BST) on Friday 11th September. Depending on interest, we may need to shortlist, so we will inform you of the outcome by 17:00 (BST) on Monday 14th September and provide you with further instructions.

If you have any questions at this stage, please email [email protected].

Registration & useful information

Register here

There is no fee to attend this online conference and spaces are booked on a first-come, first-serve basis. Registration closes at 12:00 midday (BST), Thursday 17th September.

Once registered, all final details including the agenda and links to join each session will be sent a week before the conference.

As the event is taking place virtually, you will need access to an online device such as a laptop, computer or iPad. To help with interaction, it is also encouraged to have a working webcam and microphone (if not already built in to your online device). To aid with networking, we will set up a seperate virtual room for the breaks in which you can see and chat to all attendees and speakers over a tea or coffee from the comfort of your own home!

If you have any queries at all, please contact the Diamond Events team.
