PULse Power for Kicker Systems (PULPOKS) workshop 2020

Mar 10. till Mar 12.

PULse Power for Kicker Systems (PULPOKS) workshop 2020

The Pulse Power for Kicker Systems workshop 2020 aims to address several topics associated with pulse power for kickers, as well as providing a forum for discussion between experts in this specialised domain.

Following the success of the 2018 workshop, held at CERN, this edition of PULPOKS will maintain the same format. The duration of the event is extended to three days to allow plenty of time for discussion.

The aims of PULPOKS 2020 are:
• Improve lines of communication between both new and experienced Engineers in the field of pulsed power for particle accelerators
• Share knowledge, experience and approaches to doing things
• Share information about projects which we are working on, including: obsolescence programs, upgrades, large procurements, new designs, R&D projects, etc.
• Discuss future requirements of the pulsed power community and define what we need from both universities and manufacturers
