Once your proposal has been accepted, please discuss the experimental plan and requirements with your local contact well in advance. It is particularly important to do so if you are going to be using gases / using your own equipment / have some special requirements for your samples that requires designing and manufacturing specialized holders.
Ensure that you submit the list of investigators for your experiment via the UAS at least three weeks before your scheduled beamtime, so that the useroffice can make arrangements for your accommodation.
The ERA for your experiment must be submitted at least two weeks before the experiment, so that it can be validated by Diamond Health and Safety in time for your experiments. If your ERA has not been validated, you will not be allowed to do your experiment.
Please refer to the document below for instructions on how to fill your ERA.
Remember to request for lab access, otherwise you will not be able to use the lab. If you need to use the glove box, ensure that you have requested this in the ERA.
For more information, please refer to our User Office webpage.
