The nanoscale nature of our beam is great for probing small things and learning about their composition and structure! However, it needs good sample prep and some consideration of space and size constraints to get the most out of your beamtime.
Our beamline scientists are happy to discuss your experiment ideas and samples, and will do our best to adapt the system to suit.
As we offer a range of techniques at I14, we have put together a description of each, and how we implement them at our beamline. On this page you will find a description of the different techniques, some example data and some considerations when using these techniques at the nanoscale. There is also some general tips for working with a nanoprobe.
