A meeting to exchange scientific findings using recent advances in electron microscopy
The ePSIC group at Diamond will hold the 1st ePSIC User Science Meeting on Tuesday 6th February 2018. This one-day meeting will be an opportunity for the first allocation community of ePSIC users to share and discuss their innovative scientific research.
The meeting will primarily be a collection of short (15-20 minute) research talks with time for discussions. A short presentation on strategies for ePSIC access proposal writing will be given by an ePSIC staff member, and Dr Manfred E. Schuster of Johnson Matthey will present on their current catalysis research. The programme will also include time for an engaging discussion focused on user feedback and future dream research capabilities.
Contributions to the agenda in the form of short talks from attendees are encouraged. If you wish to deliver a talk, please provide a suggested title and content overview for your talk during registration.
There is no fee to attend the meeting. Refreshments and lunch will be provided. Applicants are required to cover the cost of their transport to and from Diamond.
