I20-2 is now I20-EDE
Please reference the beamline and the branchlines with these new names in your publications.
Vertical focusing mirror:
The first optical element of the dispersive branch is a vertical focussing mirror. This silicon mirror is operated at 3mrad incident angle and has Rh and Pt coated stripes. It focuses the beam in the vertical direction at the sample position.
Band pass mirror :
This vertical deflecting mirror in combination with the upstream filters allows to remove the heat load and to select a sufficient wide bandpass to match the acceptance of the polychromator.
Polychromator crystal:
The polychromator crystal is a mechanically bent thin silicon crystal working in Bragg configuration. Two different crystal cuts are used to cover the entire energy range of the beamline, Si(111) and Si(311).
