Helium enclosure for low energy
Available at room temperature

He/LN2 Cryostat
Oxford Instruments MicroStat HIRes
This low-vibration cryostat can be used either with liquid helium or liquid nitrogen. The sample chamber is in vacuum. We recommend mounting of thin sections on sapphire discs which can be mounted on clip-on aluminium discs. There are several restrictions in the diameter of the sections that can be mounted (approx 15 mm). Please get in touch with the beamline for more information.

LN2 Cryostreams for VT down to 10K
5 mm of sample remains ice free for XRF. Can be used for 3D tomography on capillaries firing the jet along the axis of the capillary.

Laser interlock system
Pump probe TR-XAS using Diamond PORTO laser.

Liquid Pump
Smooth diaphragm pump for smooth liquid jet up to to 85 ml per minute flow speed. Other pumps may be available upon request such as syringe and peristaltic pumps.
