Get to your data from a Diamond computer or from your own laptop on the visitor network
Linux
Log on to a computer with your FedID, and access your data via the command line interface or a file browser (e.g. Konqueror or Nautilus). Only users registered to the session will be able to see the data.
All saved data will be in the following directory:
| /dls/beamline/data/YYYY/experiment-visit |
Where "beamline" is the name of the relevant beamline. e.g.
| /dls/i24/data/2016/cm14486-1 |
Windows
Log on to a computer with your FedID, and access your data via Windows Explorer. Only users registered to the session will be able to see the data.
All saved data will be in the following directory:
| \\beamline-storage\beamline\data\YYYY\experiment-visit |
Where "beamline" is the name of the relevant beamline. e.g.
| \\i24-storage\i24\data\2016\cm14486-1 |
Linux
Files are visible from the folder browser in the following directory:
| smb://data.diamond.ac.uk/beamline/data/YYYY/experiment-visit |
Where "beamline" is the name of the relevant beamline. e.g.
| smb://data.diamond.ac.uk/i02/data/2016/pj12345-1 |
You will now be able to see the visit folder(s).
Windows
Files are visible in the following directory:

You will now see your experiment directory.
