X-ray macromolecular crystallography is a key tool widely used by scientists working in industry to obtain three-dimensional information about macromolecular structures, their interactions and ligand binding. In the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries this method is now playing a central role from drug target identification up to lead optimisation.
In order to facilitate the use of Diamond by industrial researchers, an Industrial Liaison group has been established, comprising highly qualified scientists experienced in a range of technique areas. As part of the Industrial Liaison office, a dedicated team of structural biologists can help to provide an analytical solution to your research problem by making the best use of synchrotron X-ray facilities.
Depending on the requirements of our industrial users, we offer rapid access and flexible beamtime allocation, mail-in or remote access modes. We encourage you to visit the Industrial Liaison webpage for further information.
