About the event

The facilities of the Magnetic Materials Group (MMG) explore emergent phenomena in quantum materials using the capabilities of its polarised x-ray beamlines (I06I10I16 and I21). The research encompasses a variety of challenges and opportunities at the frontiers of condensed matter physics and material science ranging from topological states of matter, superconductivity, spintronics, two-dimensional systems, skyrmions and multiferroics.

On Tuesday 28th January 2025, the Magnetic Materials Group (MMG) will host a webinar to provide an update on the latest scientific output and instrument developments from the MMG beamlines.

The webinar will be an opportunity for the User Community to help steer the future development of the MMG facilities and for the broader user community to discuss new research opportunities using the MMG facilities.
