This workshop is dedicated to Energy Dispersive X-ray Absorption Spectroscopy and aims to highlight the new research opportunities offered by the start of operations of the I20-EDE branch of the I20 beamline.

Event Details

On the 10th and 11th March 2016, Diamond Light Source (DLS) will host a workshop dedicated to Energy Dispersive X-ray Absorption Spectroscopy (EDE). Applications of the EDE technique in fields such as catalysis, electrochemistry, high pressure and pump-probe spectroscopy will be showcased. The capabilities of the new I20-EDE beamline will be highlighted, in particular in the fields of Time-Resolved X-ray Absorption Spectroscopy and High Pressure research. This workshop aims to bring together experts in the field and new users of the technique and there will be time to discuss potential applications.

This is a free workshop but all delegates must register to attend. Registration is limited and available on a first-come-first-served basis.
