David is a PDRA at the electron Bio-Imaging Centre (eBIC) and joined the team in October 2020 from the University of Sheffield.

David obtained his Ph.D. at The University of Sheffield under Prof. Neil Hunter (FRS), finishing in 2019. He uses a range of cryo-electron microscopy techniques including SPA, tomography of FIB-milled lamellae, and FIB-SEM volume imaging to investigate photosynthetic organisms in collaborations with multiple institutions.
