Current Studentships

Past Studentships

• Two fully-funded PhD projects (characterising coronavirus replication organelles and Mechanisms of T cell mediated killing) starting in October 2020 have been recently approved for B24 in collaboration with The Pirbright Institute and University of Oxford. Applications to these studentships will open in early 2020.

• B24 has a current call for 2020 summer studentship with application deadline of 19th January 2020. To be supervised by Dr Maria Harkiolaki and Dr Chidinma Okolo.

• B24 has secured one Year in Industry funding. The successful student has been selected and is due to resume at B24 in June 2020. The research is going to be focused on a comparative study of Candida species clearance by primary phagocytes using correlative light and X-ray microscopy. To be supervised by Dr Maria Harkiolaki and Dr Ilias Kounatidis.
