Overview

This training course organized by the MIRIAM beamline and B22 team of Diamond Light Source, is carried on with the help and in collaboration with Ferenc Borondics from Soleil Synchrotron, and Marko Toplak from Ljubljana University.

This 3-day hands-on training will take place at Diamond Light Source and is targeted at users (current, future or potential) working on the broadest range of IR research applications, spanning from biomedical imaging, material/engineering microanalysis, physical-chemical sciences, cultural heritage or archaeology, geology and space science, nanoscience and more.

The purpose of this event is to provide a complete training on the usage of QUASAR using tutorials and examples on real-life IR microscopy (or Raman) and IR imaging datasets, including possibly IR nanospectroscopy.

Equipment- Laptop

Please note, as part of this Workshop you will be required to provide your own laptop for the practical sessions, with the latest QUASAR installation with instillation instructions provided prior to the event.
