Biography
Tom completed his integrated master’s degree in Chemistry at the University of Nottingham in 2018, with research into the electrocatalytic activity of perovskites under the supervision of Dr Maria Gimenez Lopez and Professor Robert Mokaya.
Tom went on to study fluid rock interactions for the purposes of geothermal, carbon capture and storage and radioactive waste disposal research for the British Geological Survey until 2022.
Tom is currently part of a collaboration between the Sustainable Hydrogen (SusHy) CDT and Diamond working to produce metal nanoclusters as catalysts for ammonia decomposition under the supervision of Dr Jesum Alves Fernandes and Professor David Grant, followed by characterization at ePSIC and I09 with Dr Mohsen Danaie and Dr David Duncan respectively.
