Biography
In 2020, Joshua completed his master's degree in Physical Chemistry at the University of Leicester. His thesis centred on studying the degradation pathways of polymers in various environments.
In addition to his academic pursuits, Joshua has gained valuable experience in industry. Notably, where he contributed to the development of innovative electrochemical biosensors integrated with microfluidic sampling systems designed for clinical settings.
Currently, Joshua is a Ph.D. student collaborating with Cardiff University and the Diamond Light Source as a member of the ePSIC team. His research will primarily focus on advancing Ptychographic Electron Tomography, with the potential to apply this imaging technique to further explore the structural characteristics of CO2 hydrogenating catalysts. Throughout his project, Joshua will receive supervision from Dr. Thomas Slater, Professor Graham Hutchins (Cardiff University), and Dr. Christopher Allen (Diamond Light Source).
