We’re delighted to announce that the iCAR preview film is now available online. The short film discusses, in brief, the challenges facing the automotive industry and highlights reasons for attending iCAR 2015. Those interviewed include Chris Beddoes, former Director General of FuelsEurope and Concawe, who was a key note speaker at iCAR 2013; Prof. Peter Dowding from Infineum UK Ltd; Dr Andy Beale from University College London and Diamond’s own Prof. Trevor Rayment, Director of Physical Science.

Illuminating Challenges in Automotive Research (iCAR 2015) is a two day science conference being held on the 4th and 5th of November 2015 at the UK’s synchrotron facility, Diamond Light Source in partnership with Infineum UK Ltd. The conference presents an opportunity for academia and research institutions to come together with research scientists from the automotive, oil and petrochemical industries to discuss the challenges and understand how cutting edge science can provide insights and solutions to address the obstacles to greener transportation and energy production.
Diamond Light Source is the UK's national synchrotron science facility, located at the Harwell Science and Innovation Campus in Oxfordshire.
