TamaTA-INNOV to boost innovation in European SMEs

A European programme funded by the Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme is now open to SMEs.

TamaTA-INNOV aims to boost innovation in European SMEs by providing access to a range of European light source facilities to conduct their research.

To be eligible for the programme, SME’s must:

1. have fewer than 250 employees and
2. have a turnover equal or lower than €50m or a total balance sheet equal or lower than €43m
3. be located in a country different to the one where the light source is located; however, that restriction does not apply if the access is remote instead of in person
4. only submit one proposal per topic (area, type of experiment, technique…) to all the Calls except in very well justified cases.

Industrial researchers of SMEs based in third countries can be supported as long as the cumulative access provided to them is below 20% of the total amount of units of access.
