Mahesh Krishna Prabhu

Mahesh Krishna Prabhu is currently a beamline scientist at I07, where he specializes in the ultra-high-vacuum growth chamber on Experimental Hutch 2 (EH2). Before joining I07, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the BM32 Surface X-Ray Diffraction beamline at the ESRF. He earned his Ph.D. in Chemistry and Catalysis from Leiden University in the Netherlands. His research focuses on elucidating reaction mechanisms in heterogeneous catalysis through in operando experiments and developing innovative synthesis strategies for growing 2D materials on both solid and liquid metal substrates.
