Susan Nehzati
Current Research Interests
My research interests are in environmental toxicology and biogeochemistry on matters spanning from the present to deep time. My work is typically focused on using synchrotron methods (combining spectroscopy and imaging) to advance the molecular understanding on how both flora and fauna may be influenced by the environment. Confronted with the challenges attributed to the complex nature of environmental and biological samples I routinely work with tailored sample environments in my research.
