** NEWS: Our clients can now enjoy a fully-integrated solution with enhanced stability, shorter time to insights & improved contrast thanks to the new Thermo Fisher Falcon4i detector & new SelectrisX energy filter installed on our industry-dedicated Krios. **

Glacios

GlaciosOur dedicated GlaciosTM Cryo-Transmission Electron Microscope (Cryo-TEM features the FalconTM4i direct electron detector, to enable high-resolution screening <3Å. It enables sample screening and initial model building, allowing scientists to pre-screen samples on the GlaciosTM to find the best quality samples before advancing to the higher resolution imaging achievable using the KriosTM Cryo-TEM.

Benefits include:

  • Maximum throughput, enabling batch screening of up to 12 sample grids
  • Pre-screening of samples to assess their suitability for further screening on the Krios.

Krios

KriosOur dedicated KriosTM G3iTM  provides automated applications such as single particle analysis and cryo-tomography and enables a streamlined pathway, from sample preparation and optimisation through to image acquisition and data processing.

The Krios uses a brand-new state-of-the-art Falcon4i detector and SelectrisX energy filter, providing higher throughput and faster time to data. Its advanced capabilities also enable the study of smaller and more dynamic proteins.

Benefits include:

  • High resolution performance
  • Faster and accurate tomography acquisition.
  • Maximum throughput data collection from the latest generation of detectors.

Vitrobot

VitrobotThe Vitrobot™ completely automates the vitrification process to provide fast, high-quality, easy, and reproducible sample preparation. It provides precise but flexible control of all critical parameters in the plunge-freezing process.

Benefits include:

  • High sample throughput
  • High-quality reproducible vitrification of aqueous suspensions
  • Precise control of critical process parameters, and management of environmental variables through the use of an enclosed process chamber
