Current Research Interests

Diego is a PhD student on I06 in a joint position between Diamond Light Source, the London Centre of Nanotechnology and University College London. His research concerns investigating emerging quantum phenomena via external manipulation. Diego's other interests include magnetic materials, quantum phase transitions and crystals structures and characterisation. Before starting his PhD in 2023, Diego graduated with a first-class honours BSc degree in Physics and Theoretical Physics from King's College London and a first-class MSc degree in Theoretical Physics from the University of Edinburgh.
