Date: Monday 23rd November 2015
Location Diamond

In preparation for the start of the user program with the new I19 diffractometer in Experiment Hutch 1 (EH1), we will be holding a one day user training workshop on Monday 23rd November for our regular EH1 users. We would strongly encourage one representative from each of our regular EH1 user groups to attend the workshop where we intend to provide training on the use of the new diffractometer, and how to process data from it. There will be hands-on sessions and we will also discuss the use of the robot.

To keep numbers manageable, and to make the day as useful as possible to attendees, we will limit the number of attendees to two per beamtime team. We plan to offer reasonable travel expenses for attendees and a night of accommodation before the workshop for those that require it.

There will be opportunities to ask questions throughout the day. We welcome user comments and feedback and will use these to plan and prioritise improvements.
