Dave is Senior Beamline Technician on I09. Dave is dedicated and highly skilled technician and he is regularly contacted by both scientists and technicians around Diamond for advice and help. He is strongly involved in training the next generation of synchrotron technicains and has instructed over 30 apprentices in last 12 years in mechanical assembly. In the year 2022, Dave has been awared a prestigious Institute of Physics Technical Skills Award in the Technician Awards section.
