Research Expertise

My scientific research background lies primarily in two areas. For my PhD I investigated the interactions between polymer brush coated surfaces using both x-rays and the surface force apparatus, and during undergraduate studies I conducted an investigation into the formation and morphologies of amyloid fibrils. In addition to these areas I also have a keen interest in lipid systems as well as colloidal systems stabilised by polymer brushes.

My role as a Data Analysis Scientist at Diamond is primarily to promote and improve the DAWN analysis package for the SAXS Community. I am keen to hear the views of users and collaborators who use DAWN informing me of what works, what doesn't work and what we're missing in order to make the package of greater use to the scattering community.
