Tatiana is a PhD student on I04 jointly supervised by Dr Erika Mancini (University of Sussex, Brighton) and Dr Ralf Flaig (Diamond Light Source). Her PhD work focuses on the characterization of Chromatin Remodelling ATPases by integrative structural biology techniques including CryoEM, SAXS and X-ray crystallography. Her work will try and uncover mechanism by which chromatin remodelling ATPases work to unravel nucleosomes but  will also investigate their role in DNA damage repair and cancer.

If Tatiana is not in the lab, she is probably playing ukulele, shopping, watching Sci-fi TV shows or reading her favourite books for the umpteenth time.
