Andy Smith

Andy Smith is a Senior Beamline Scientist at I22. He joined Diamond after completing his PhD studies at University College London. His main interests are nucleation and growth of inorganic materials, and the standardisation of SAXS measurements. Inorganic systems often have structures spanning hundreds of nanometres to several microns. Because of this, Andy has developed an interest in Ultra-Small Angle Scattering
