The MIRIAM beamline B22 at Diamond Light Source offers near-field FTIR microscopy in photo-thermal mode (RE-AFMIR) for user research. This is a call for collaborative user proposals covering beamtime between 1st April 2019 and 31st September 2019.
Users
For this call we are offering the following experimental performances suitable for sub-micron feature to several micron sample scale:
For these experiments it is essential that users have well-characterised samples, and have discussed the science and technical aspects with beamline staff prior to submission.
All proposals will be assessed and beamtime will be granted based on scientific merit with a strong emphasis on technical feasibility and sample/substrate suitability.
Interested users should submit application through the User Administration System (UAS) and choose the “commissioning” access route since this is a specific call for beamtime on a new MIRIAM/B22 end station.
The deadline for this call is 10th December 2018
For technical questions about proposed experiments, please contact [email protected], [email protected] or [email protected]
Users should consult the relevant publications for reference: Donaldson et al, Cinque et al
