Careers at Diamond
Diamond is the UK’s synchrotron light source, located on the Harwell Science and Innovation Campus in South Oxfordshire. The facility provides the scientific community with access to experimental stations specialising in a range of techniques utilising synchrotron radiation, from infra red to hard X-ray light. Diamond became operational in January 2007 with an initial complement of seven beamlines and has since expanded rapidly. The facility is currently in its third phase of development, expected to complete in 2018, bringing the total number of beamlines up to 33.
