Scientific computing is at the heart of big science. We need high calibre graduates and postgraduates to take on roles programming and developing the systems which underpin and support the cutting edge science and engineering at Diamond. With opportunities for students in computing science, physics, mathematics and other disciplines, we hope you can come along and find out what a career in scientific computing can offer.

What is Scientific Computing? 

The pursuit of scientific knowledge now rarely escapes the need for data analysis, software development, computing resources and even hardware control, in essence scientific computing. The nature of the work undertaken at Diamond allows an elite group of scientists and engineers to craft rewarding careers in these areas and we are always looking for more gifted and enthusiastic candidates to help us achieve our goals and facilitate UK and worldwide science.
