The next Inside Diamond open day will feature stalls and activities, a short introduction to Diamond and a tour of the machine. We expect the visit will last around two and a half hours. Booking for open days opens 6-8 weeks in advance of the event. Click here for more details.
This workshop aims to bring together researchers in the fields of polarised soft X-ray studies of magnetism and highly correlated systems, which are relevant for many of the beamlines in the Surfaces and Interfaces Village. Themes will include advances in novel materials such as multiferroics, superlattices and spin ice using polarised spectroscopies such as X-ray magnetic circular dichroism, X-ray magnetic linear dichroism and photoemission. Furthermore, we will also hold sessions on domain wall motion and biomagnetism studied using these techniques.
