The Diamon MX Village provides lab access for users to our Lab 34a. This facility provides the space for using the HC1b separately from beamtime and for using the spectroscopy equipment away from the beamline.

This facility is not equipped with crystallisation robotics, cryo-protectants or pins for harvesting crystals. It is not intended for long term use or extensive crystallisation - there is provision for this within the Research Complex at Harwell (RCaH).
If you are interested in using the lab facilities please contact your local contact or the beamline staff to arrange access and ensure the equipment you need is provided.

We have a Zeiss stereomicroscope.
There is distilled water and ELGA purified water available.
Liquid nitrogen is always available and the lab has O2 monitoring.
There are a range of temporary storage facilities.
