Poster sessions will take place each afternoon from Monday 16th to Wednesday 18th. Posters are to be mounted on the morning of your session so that conference attendees can visit them during the day. Between 16:00 and 18:00 they must be manned.

Authors are reminded that all contributed papers must be presented, and any which are not presented at the conference can be excluded from the proceedings.

Poster size will be A0 in portrait only orientation and mounting material will be provided.

We encourage you to upload a PDF version of your poster to SPMS, this will be included in the proceedings.

Poster Printing

Unfortunately we cannot print posters for conference delegates, however there are a number of printing companies with offices within Oxford that you can send a .pdf file to, and have them print an A0 poster for you to pick up when you arrive. Most will print within 3-5 days, so it is recommended to arrange printing in advance!

Mail Boxes Etc.
Oxford University Department of Physics

As well as these local companies there are plenty of nationwide UK companies that can print A0 posters and can post them to your hotel.

Note: the companies listed about are just a sample of printers taken from a Google search. Neither the IBIC committee nor Diamond Light Source Ltd. recommends one printer over any other, and using these external companies is done entirely at your own risk.
Printing your poster and bringing it with you yourself is probably the safest way to guarantee that you poster is available for your session.
